Getting Started with SAP Lumira – new course started on open sap

 

There is new course in the free educational platform of SAP: http://open.sap.com  about Lumira “Getting Started with SAP Lumira”.

 

SAP Lumira is the primary solution for application design from SAP with continued innovation and investment.  It is one product consisting of 2 clients, SAP Lumira Discovery and SAP Lumira Designer, and a combined server add-on.

The designer should replace the Business Object Design Studio.

The course effort is estimated to 3-4 hours per week and will give the participants the overview of Lumira product. The participants will learn how to create simple visualizations with Lumira Discovery and dashboards and analyses with SAP Lumira Designer. Also the integration capabilities of the BI platform are covered.

The course is from 07.03.2017 till 12.04.2017. The course is already started, but you can join since it is just in the first week. You will not miss anything.

As all open sap courses this course is free of charge. There is trial version of Lumira Discovery, which can be used free for 30 days.

The course participants can gain points and get a certificate at the end of the course.

A record of achievement is issued to those who have earned more than 50% of the maximum number of points for the sum of all graded assignments. A confirmation of participation is issued to those who have completed at least 50% of the course material.

The open SAP courses are possibility to getting started with SAP and to learn about SAP, but they are different from the SAP training courses. In most of the courses there is no system access included and they are more theoretical. The exercises are not obligatory for receiving the record of achievement.

The open SAP courses are mainly about new SAP technologies, which SAP wants to popularize. But they are also opportunity to get known to the people behind SAP and ask questions in the open SAP platform.
